Running both sides together is the single biggest change a pair makes to a day. Nothing about the hardware is different from the single cup version; there are simply two of them, each with its own motor, battery and panel.
The pump returns to the mode and level you used last instead of starting from the beginning. Elapsed time shows on the LED, and the unit powers down on its own after thirty minutes, which covers the sessions you forget about.
Quieter than conversation, which is what makes a wearable usable in a room with other people in it. In an office it reads as a faint hum under a sweater. On a call with a sensitive microphone it is sometimes audible, and that is worth testing before you count on it.
